On the evening of Tuesday 4th September 2018 at the Great Hall of the British Medical Association (BMA) in London, the prestigious annual BMA Book Awards took place recognizing the outstanding contributions to medical literature by authors.
The prestigious and highly-competitive awards saw CRC Press and Routledge authors success from nearly 700 resources – a record for the BMA Book Awards submitted for consideration.
Two titles were also awarded first prize: Gynaecology by Ten Teachers, 20th Edition in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology category, and Handbook of Primary Care Ethics in the Primary Health Care category. There were also many more titles by CRC press and Routledge receiving the honor of Highly Commended in their respective categories.
In addition, several authors from across the globe at the event in attendance. Our surgery co-editor Sachinder Hans, author of Endovascular and Open Vascular Reconstruction, made the trip from Detroit to be there in person.
The success of our authors at the BMA Book Awards also was a great recognition of handwork and commitment in their titles.
