Healthcare Digital Transformation
HOW CONSUMERISM, TECHNOLOGY AND PANDEMIC ARE ACCELERATING THE FUTURE
Survival of the Digitalist
Dallas, TX, August 2, 2020– The future belongs to healthcare organizations and leaders who can digitally transform themselves. How do you enable and lead a digital transformation? How do you develop plans for it? How do you govern? Execute? Focus? How do you know when you’ve hit the target, closed the gap, and pleased the customer? What is digital nirvana? Healthcare Digital Transformation answers these critical questions so your organization cannot only survive, but thrive.
The book draws from proprietary and public research. We conducted over 150 interviews with executives in leading health systems and technology providers over the past two years, and these have provided us with the core insights that you will learn in this book. The important role of emerging technologies, pandemic, EHR systems, digital health innovations, and big tech firms in the ongoing digital transformation of healthcare is explored through case studies of successful digital initiatives.
“Healthcare’s digital transformation is in early stages. The insights they share in this book will benefit both health- care and technology executives and enable enterprises to successfully navigate their digital transformation journeys.” –Toby Cosgrove, MD Former President and CEO of Cleveland Clinic
“The pandemic has reiterated the significance of digitization in EVERYTHING we do, but more significantly in health care. It is indeed survival of the digital fittest. Ed and Paddy are expert practitioners in digital transformation who have synthesized several key trends and this book is a compelling narrative that defines the future of healthcare as we know it.” –CP Gurnani, CEO, Tech Mahindra
