The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), a constituent of the ICFAI Group, has entered a landmark open access (OA) publishing partnership with Taylor & Francis, one of the world’s leading academic publishers.

This agreement marks IFHE’s first open access membership with a major global publisher and will enable its researchers to publish their scholarly work OA in over 2,400 journals across Taylor & Francis and Routledge portfolios, including both fully open access and hybrid journals.

The partnership is expected to significantly enhance the global visibility, accessibility, and impact of research produced at IFHE across diverse disciplines such as Business & Management, Finance, Law, Architecture, and Technology.

Open access publishing aligns with the ICFAI Group’s vision of fostering a socially responsible and knowledge-driven academic ecosystem by ensuring that high-quality research is freely accessible to scholars, practitioners, and policymakers worldwide.

Prof. T Koti Reddy, Vice Chancellor (In charge) of the IFHE, said: “This partnership with Taylor & Francis represents a significant milestone in IFHE’s journey toward academic excellence and global research leadership. By enabling our faculty and researchers to publish in high-impact open access journals, we are not only enhancing the visibility of our research but also contributing meaningfully to the global knowledge ecosystem. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to quality, relevance, and societal impact in research.”

Nitasha Devasar, VP and Commercial Lead for South Asia & Africa at Taylor & Francis, said: “India is today home to some of the world’s leading business schools, with institutions like the IFHE producing high-quality research. We’re excited to see the work of IFHE’s researchers make a positive impact for communities and organizations around the globe through this OA membership.”

Prof. S Vijayalakshmi, Registrar at IFHE, said: “The open access agreement with Taylor & Francis will play a transformative role in strengthening the research culture at IFHE. It provides our scholars with greater opportunities to disseminate their work internationally, while also ensuring wider reach and citation impact. This initiative will further motivate faculty and research scholars to pursue high-quality publications and align with global academic standards.”

Prof. KS Venu Gopal Rao, Director of IBS Hyderabad, said: “At IBS Hyderabad, a constituent of the IFHE, we have consistently emphasized research that is rigorous, relevant, and impactful. This partnership with Taylor & Francis will serve as a catalyst in elevating the quality of our research outputs by providing access to globally recognized publishing platforms. It will also encourage interdisciplinary research, strengthen faculty scholarship, and enhance our standing among leading business schools and universities worldwide.”
