King Abdulaziz University (KAU) and Taylor & Francis have signed a new open access (OA) publishing partnership to significantly expand the global reach and impact of KAU’s advanced research programs.

The partnership will provide KAU authors with comprehensive support to publish OA articles across the Taylor & Francis portfolio, in both hybrid and full OA journals, including Routledge, Dove Medical Press and F1000 publications.

This initiative aligns with KAU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global research presence and ensure the widespread accessibility of its scientific output. OA publishing is a key element of that program, opening the latest research discoveries to readers everywhere. This partnership reinforces both organizations’ commitment to advancing open research and international collaboration.

“At King Abdulaziz University, we are committed to empowering our researchers with the highest-quality tools, partnerships, and global platforms that amplify the impact of Saudi research. This collaboration reflects our strategic vision to advance open science, strengthen international cooperation, and ensure that KAU remains at the forefront of innovation, discovery, and scholarly excellence,” said Saeed Badghish, Dean of Scientific Research at King Abdulaziz University.

Carolyn Kirby, Vice President & Commercial Lead at Taylor & Francis, added: “We are excited to partner with King Abdulaziz University and to support their inspiring mission for research innovation and academic excellence. We look forward to working with researchers across the diverse disciplines represented at KAU to maximize the visibility of their groundbreaking knowledge.”
