Taylor & Francis Group partners with Operational Research Society to publish the society’s six journals in 2018

Taylor & Francis Group and the Operational Research Society (OR) are pleased to announce their new partnership from 2018.

Taylor & Francis Group will publish six journals on behalf of the society, including Journal of the Operational Research Society, European Journal of Information Systems, Knowledge Management Research & Practice, Journal of Simulation, Health Systems and Journal of Business Analytics, a new launch for 2018. Taylor & Francis will also typeset and distribute the society’s Impact Magazine, a free publication for all those interested in the real world examples of OR in action.

The UK’s OR Society is the world’s oldest-established learned society catering to the Operational Research profession, and one of the largest in the world, with 2,700 members in 66 countries.
The new partnership further enrichens Taylor & Francis’ existing Operational Research program and related fields.

Ian Bannerman, Managing Director at Taylor & Francis Journals said: “It’s a privilege to publish on behalf of Operational Research Society. This new partnership allows us to provide access to six leading journals in the Operational Research and further connect with the research communities in the relevant fields.”

Gavin Blackett, the Secretary & General Manager of the OR Society commented: “Partnering with Taylor & Francis Group is a strategic move for the Operational Research Society.  The society’s journals will benefit from greater visibility and a wider readership from Taylor & Francis’ extensive network. We’re excited about the new partnership and will work closely together with Taylor & Francis Group to increase the impact of our journals.”
