Taylor & Francis provides clarity and transparency to researchers on Open Research and sharing their work

Taylor & Francis provides clear, concise guidance to researchers on the routes they can choose to publish, and how they can share article versions. We are committed to moving towards Open Research at a rate that matches each research community’s needs, and funding levels available to support a rigorous, robust scholarly communications ecosystem. All parties must work together constructively to support researchers. We challenge the joint statement: 20210525-joint-statement-empower-researchers-open-access.pdf (cesaer.org) and are concerned that it will cause further confusion to researchers by suggesting that publishers are not clear and transparent in helping authors to navigate an increasingly complex funder-mandated environment. We work closely with universities and library consortia to set up a range of transformative agreements to support this change and to protect authors from this complexity.
