Taylor & Francis renews with Atypon, signing multi-year online journal delivery contract

Taylor & Francis has extended its existing contract to continue to host, deliver, and market all of its research journals on Literatum, Atypon’s online publishing and website development platform.

Taylor & Francis has been an Atypon client since 2009, using Literatum to deliver more than 2,700 journals and 4 million articles in a wide range of academic disciplines. The site showcases content both from Taylor & Francis’ own journals, and on behalf of over 200 scholarly societies.  They launched a completely redesigned website on Literatum in 2016.

“We look forward to continuing our technology partnership with Atypon,” said Balaji Devarajan, Director – Digital Products Group at Taylor & Francis. “Literatum provides the infrastructure for our online platform, Taylor & Francis Online. With support from its tools, we are able to give our customers quick and easy access to the articles they require for their research. Literatum also gives us direct control of our content and websites to run our online publishing business effectively.”

“We’re proud of our long-term relationship with Taylor & Francis,” said Georgios Papadopoulos, Atypon’s CEO and founder. “Literatum’s continuous client-driven development has supported their online business strategies for nearly a decade.”
