We are delighted to announce that the Higher Education Sales Team has won 2018 Tertiary Supplier of The Year Award from ACBA – the Australian Campus Booksellers Association – for the third year running. Alicia Cohen and Marion Duval attended the ACBA meeting and dinner in Brisbane where they received this award, along with four others:

• Best Fulfillment 2018
• Best Valuing the Campus Bookshop Supply Chain 2018
• Best Trading Terms 2018
• Best Reps – New South Wales (NSW) 2018

Over the course of the day each publisher gets a chance to meet with the ACBA committee on a one-on-one basis. This year Alicia shared with the ACBA members key updates from the year, including team changes and stocking and printing news. Afterwards the publishers and the campus booksellers met together to discuss key market changes and influences like the University of New South Wales (UNSW) VitalSource store, the Western Sydney University (WSU) Inclusive Access deal, piracy, international students and copyright.

Thanks again to Warwick Teale and his team at TL Distribution, our third-party book distributor, for their exemplary distribution and service levels across such a geographically large territory. Thanks also to our extended team in the UK who support the team down under daily. Everyone at ACBA sends their regards and congratulations for another great year.

ACBA represents the interests of 115 Campus bookstores, 680,000 students, 590 staff and sales of over AUS$130 million across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. It runs over 25-member campus bookshops and retail stores in the region.
